Press relase: winner IX edition - 2010

Italian Ambassador in Minsk, Mr Arnaldo Abete, gave Anna Fedoseenko the medalThe Italian Ambassador in Minsk, Mr Arnaldo Abete, gave Anna Fedoseenko the medal by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano: the first prize of 9th edition of International Drawing Competition “Colourful Rights” organized by Fondazione Malagutti onlus to promote childhood rights.
Drawing is egg tempera painted, cm 43x29,7 of size; it suggests Cubism style because of its uneven lines that creates some well-defined subjets of rose, lilac and light-blue colours.
Competition turns to all children from 3 to 14 years of age who have taken part choosing freely theme, size and method for their drawings. Volounteers and humanitarian delegations have helped  us to spread this iniziative all over the world, specially in those countries plagued by war.

International Drawing Competition has involved many countries all over the world: India, China, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Peru,  Brazil, Madagascar, Indonesia, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Lithuania, Albania, Taiwan, United States, France, England, Switzerland, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Rwanda, Bolivia, Greece, Germany, Belarus, Nepal, Marocco e Ethiopia.
This initiative turns also to families, schools, mass media and Istitutions in order to inform and sensitize them about the strong realities children must face in many countries in the world.
Competition tries to stimulate fantasy, creativity and sensitivity of children, becoming an opportunity of discussion and knowledge for different way of life.

Initiative is spread by web site www.dirittiacolori.it translated in italian, english and french. Posters and participation forms have been handed out by Italian Institute of Culture abroad and volounteers of International humanitarian delegations.
Many mass media have spread this competition as web sites dedicated to childhood or contests.
Theme of competition: free as the creativity, simpleness, spontaneity and fantasy characterizing children.
The iniziative is organized by Fondazione Malagutti onlus and its Community for Minors to celebrate November 20th, Universal Children’s Day.

9th Edition got the Acknowledgement of the President of Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano; the patronage of the President of Region Lombardy; the agreement of Ministry of Interior, Department for Youth, Department for equal opportunities, Unicef, Italian Red Cross, Garant for Childhood, Municipality of Mantua, Children City, Child Friendly Cities, Municipality of Curtatone, Province of Mantua, C.I.S.M.A.I (Italian co-ordination against childhood maltreatment and abuse), FIMP (The Italia Federation of Paediatricians), Italian Police of Communication.
