The bookmobile visits nearly forty locations and the story mobile visits preschools and afterschool day-care centres, bringing stories to the city’s children. The library contains an ample selection of books, fiction and nonfiction, in Icelandic and other languages. Popular films and documentaries and a wide selection of music is also available. The library also offers various events for children and grown up such as reading circles, literary walking tours, story times and arts and crafts.
